Dear Lord,
I come before you, broken. Broken in my spirit, torn in my heart. I know that I'm not the only one. Others are wounded by their grief; their loss. Help us, Jesus. I trust you to mend these broken pieces back together and to make me whole in a way that only You can. Nothing else can ever satisfy; not worldly possessions, not relationships, nor any blessing of a child that has come or is yet to come. Only You, Jesus. May I always remember that Your grace is enough and that Your power is made perfect in my weakness. Help me to cling to this truth today, tomorrow, and each day after that. I love you. Amen.
