Memorial Service for Tate...
Those of you on our email list know that a fellow mommy and co-facilitator of one of our support groups, Shayla, recently experienced the loss of her precious boy, Tate, who went to be with Jesus. On Monday, she went in for her 16-week appointment and an ultrasound confirmed the worst. Tate was born still and silent on Tuesday, August 16th. Please keep Shayla and Joshua and their family in your prayers. There will be a graveside memorial service on Tuesday, August 23rd at 10 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. His obituary will be printed in Sunday's Des Moines Register.

Oh, my heart aches for them! So thankful God comforts the brokenhearted! I will be praying for Shayla, Josh and family.
Teske, I'm not completely certain I'll be able to make it...but I really would like to! Please, if I'm unable to be there, let Shayla and her family know that they are in my thoughts and prayers.
