Please join us this Saturday, November 1st, for a time of fellowship and remembrance, as we gather to scrapbook and share brunch! This event is for any Mommy who has experienced the loss of a child and has a desire to create a special memento in their honor. Whether or not you have attended any Mommies with Hope meetings or events in the past, please know that you are welcome and we pray that this event would minister to your heart as you remember your child.
Here are the details...
When: Saturday, November 1st, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Where: Lakeside Building in Polk City (213 W. Broadway St.)
Items to Bring: Bring your own scrapbook, pictures, and paper supplies. We will have some items available for your use, such as decorative scissors, stamps, adhesive, etc. Also, please bring a brunch side dish to share. We will provide coffee, juice, cookies, and breakfast casserole.
We are looking forward to using this opportunity to come alongside one another and work on mementos for our precious babies. If you do not have actual photographs of your sweet baby, please do not let this deter you from coming! We can be creative and work together on helping each other create a lasting memento. One idea is to bring any greeting cards or comforting messages you received from family/friends and compile them into a scrapbook. Another idea is to bring a special poem or the lyrics to a comforting song and turn it into a lasting memento to frame. We hope to see each of you soon!
